At Edmonton Bath Products (“we,” “us,” “our”), we are committed to providing high-quality bathroom installation and renovation services. To ensure your satisfaction, we offer warranties that cover both our workmanship and the products we install. This Warranty Policy outlines the terms and conditions of the warranty provided by us, as well as any applicable warranties from third-party suppliers such as Riobel Fleurco, Shodor and independent contractors or installers.

1. Coverage Overview

Our warranty policy covers:

  • Workmanship Warranty: Covers issues related to the installation and quality of our services.

  • Manufacturing Warranty: Edmonton Bath Products offers a 3-year manufacturing warranty covering defects for Cultured Marble, Crystalline, Tyvarian, and Cultured Granite products. For items from other brands, such as Riobel, Fleurco, and Shodor, their respective manufacturer warranties will apply.

  • Contractor/Installer Warranty: Any third-party contractors or installers working on your project may have their own warranty policies, which will apply to their specific work or products provided.

2. Workmanship Warranty

We stand behind the quality of our installation services. We offer a 1 Year warranty on workmanship for all bathroom installations, renovations, and related services.

  • This warranty covers defects or issues resulting from improper installation or poor workmanship.

  • It does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage, or modifications made by others after installation.

If a defect related to workmanship is discovered within the warranty period, we will repair or, if necessary, replace the affected part of the installation at no additional cost.

3. Product Warranty

The products we use in your installation may be subject to the warranties provided by third-party suppliers, such as:

  • Riobel: Warranty details for Riobel products will be provided by the supplier. Please refer to their specific warranty documentation for more information.

  • Fleurco: Fleurco’s glass shower doors come with their own manufacturer warranties. You will receive these warranty terms when you purchase or install Fleurco products through us.

  • Shodor: Products from Shodor are subject to Shodor’s warranty policy, which will be communicated at the time of purchase.

Important Note: Warranty coverage on products from these suppliers is subject to their specific terms, including duration, conditions, and exclusions. Please review the documentation provided by these suppliers for complete details.

4. Contractor and Installer Warranty

If your project involves third-party contractors or installers, their work and products may be covered by their own warranty policies. We will provide you with their warranty information when applicable.

  • For example, independent contractors performing specialized installations (e.g., steam showers) may offer a separate workmanship warranty, which will apply to their portion of the project.

  • Any products sourced or installed by third-party contractors will also be subject to their supplier-specific warranties.

5. Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal Wear and Tear: Expected degradation due to regular use, aging, or environmental factors.

  • Accidental Damage: Damage caused by external factors such as impacts, floods, or improper care.

  • Misuse or Alterations: Issues arising from improper use, unauthorized repairs, or modifications made after installation.

  • Product Failures Due to Lack of Maintenance: Failure to follow care and maintenance instructions for products will void both our warranty and any third-party product warranties.

6. Claiming a Warranty

If you experience an issue covered under this warranty, follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Reach out to Edmonton Bath Products with your warranty claim details.

  2. Provide Proof of Purchase: You must provide proof of purchase, installation, and the date of completion of the work to validate your claim.

  3. Assessment: We will assess the claim to determine if it falls under our workmanship warranty or if it is covered by a third-party supplier’s warranty. For third-party product claims, we will facilitate communication between you and the supplier, but final warranty decisions rest with the manufacturer.

  4. Resolution: If the claim is valid, we will repair, replace, or otherwise resolve the issue in accordance with this policy or the third-party supplier’s policy.

7. Duration of Warranty

  • Workmanship Warranty: Our workmanship is covered for 1 year from the date of installation.

  • Product Warranties: The duration of product warranties is determined by the manufacturer (e.g., Riobel, Fleurco, Shodor) and varies based on the specific product. Please refer to the supplier’s documentation for specific time frames.

8. Limitation of Liability

While we strive to ensure the highest quality of products and services, our liability is limited to the scope of this warranty. We are not responsible for:

  • Any damages exceeding the value of the project.

  • Failures caused by the negligence of third-party contractors or improper maintenance.

  • Losses related to the inconvenience or delay in warranty service.

9. Changes to the Warranty Policy

We reserve the right to update this Warranty Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website. Please check this policy periodically for updates.

This warranty policy provides peace of mind by covering both our workmanship and products from our trusted suppliers. Please ensure you review the specific terms from any third-party suppliers involved in your project to fully understand your coverage.
